The MessCrypt application was designed to encrypt / decrypt text messages.Operation is very simple:1) the sender generates, once, an encryption key consisting of a maximum of twenty characters such as numbers, letters and special characters and associates it with a Name that is to say the recipient2) the sender, through the appropriate encryption function, formulates a text message, typing it or copying it from another text and pasting it, associates an Encryption Key (which implicitly defines the recipient) and presses the Encryption button; the encrypted message is then generated which can be sent to the recipient using the Share button that allows you to use one of the applications in your possession to transmit text messages (for example: Email, WhatsApp, Signal, etc.).3) the recipient receives the encrypted message and can read it in clear text, through the appropriate Decryption function of this application, only by knowing the Encryption Key that the sender used and which must communicate to him separatelyThere are also the Data Export and Data Import functions which are particularly useful in the case in which, for example, the deviceon which the data (those of the encryption keys) has been stored must be replaced; in cases like this it will be sufficient to install the application on the new device, activate the Data Import function and, at the same time, on the old device, activate the Data Export function: in a few seconds the data will be transferred to the new one device.The whole procedure is protected by a PIN access that can be changedwhenever you want; also, to avoid that we can forgetting the PIN it is provided that, upon creation or modification of the a reminder can be sent by e-mail, so that it remains tracked over time and the information is stored on a device other than the one on which the application is run.
